SUMMARY:Suzuki Baby/Toddler Music Immersion Class
DESCRIPTION:In these classes you will find out just how early learning begins! For one hour each day for five consecutive days\, you will sing\, dance\, play\, and learn with your baby or toddler from birth through age four. Your child will have the opportunity to interact with other children\, parents\, and teachers\, learn new musical skills\, increase their vocabulary\, and learn about patience\, sharing and taking turns. We have a daily “Parent Point” where we share strategies for continuing your child’s musical growth at home. \nThis immersion class will be held in conjunction with a Suzuki Early Childhood Education (SECE) Teacher Training course\, so you and your child will be able to experience the teaching of not only SECE Specialist and Registered SAA SECE Teacher Trainer\, Danette Warren\, but also all the other excellent teachers involved in the course. \nPreparation for an optimum class experience: \n\nRegister early so we can mail you some advance information.\nBegin playing our class curriculum recording daily for your child before you come to class.\nRead the booklet\, “Lullabies\, Action Songs\, and Rhymes” by Dorothy Jones\, founder of the SECE Curriculum.\nAttend all five consecutive days of the immersion class.\nWear comfortable clothing for moving around and sitting on the floor. Be prepared to remove your shoes and your child’s shoes.\nIt is preferable to have only one child partnered with one parent in class.\nDo not attend class when ill. Please remember\, learning does not happen when you or your child is sick. Please do not pass on contagious illnesses to everyone in class. The health and safety of everyone is of primary importance.\nPlease refrain from taking photos or video during class to help maintain your focus on your child and their learning experience.\nGet ready to sing\, dance and share the joy of making music!

SUMMARY:SECE Stage Three Teacher Training Course
DESCRIPTION:Suzuki Early Childhood Education teachers\, expand and deepen your SECE teaching experience! This 5-day course will take you through the third level of the Suzuki Early Childhood Education teacher training. This interactive course will include live demonstration classes in addition to lecture and discussion. All participants should come prepared to lead an activity in the baby/toddler demonstration class and receive personal feedback\, beginning on the first day. There will be required written assignments and observations during the week. \nClass Schedule \nMonday\, July 28 thru Saturday\, August 2\, 2025\n9:00am – 4:15pm\n10:00-11:00am SECE Baby/Toddler demonstration class\nLunch break 12:00-1:30pm \nCourse Pre-requisites: \n\nCurrent Active SAA Membership\nMust be at least age 18 and graduated from high school\nCompletion of the SAA Every Child Can (ECC) course\nCompletion of SECE Stages One\, Two\, and Three training\nCompletion of the SECE Revisions course is recommended\, but not required\nIt is assumed that teachers have experience teaching the SECE Baby/Toddler classes with the current\, revised curriculum\nRe-read and study the pre-requisite materials:\n\nNurtured by Love by Shinichi Suzuki Revised Edition\nAbility Development from Age Zero\, by Shinichi Suzuki and Mary Louise Nagata\nLullabies\, Action Songs\, and Rhymes recording by Sharon Jones with companion booklet by Dorothy Jones\n\n\n\nGuidelines: \n\nAll fees are non-refundable (unless the course is full before your application is received).
